"Pigtail" playoff game tonight ( my first and only one this season), 2 pretty competitive lower-seeded teams.

Third period a little over 2 min to go. V team's big guy has 3 fouls on him. I'm L. H team shoots and misses, gets rebound. H's smallest player gets the ball passed over to him and tries to go around everyone using the endline. V's big guy hips him, knocking H OOB. I whistle the foul and head towards reporting area. As I'm starting to report, i hear V coach loudly asking his guy how that foul could have been called on him.. the kids replys " I didn't do anything, I just blocked the guy from getting around me". I finish reporting "block" and look over at V coach. All I saw was a sheepish grin...

Fun season. Now to put the roundball gear away, and get the soccer gear out. First tournament this weekend...
