Coach sends self to hospital
GV District tournament, coach get 2 techs and ejected. He leaves the gym and slugs a brick wall then bangs the same wall with his head. There is blood everywhere and they haul him off in an ambulance.

"There is blood everywhere and they haul him off in an ambulance." That means that an ambulance was called.

Yes, an ambulance was called. The first "T" followed a player control foul. The coach flopped to the floor to show what really happened. The second "T" was given by partner (2-person crew) when the coach wouldn't settle down. The coach had to be escorted off the court.

I think a plaque commemorating that moment of brilliance should be placed at that spot on the wall.

The closest I ever saw a coach come to doing something like this was about five years ago in a local kids rec league game. It was 5th grade boys and I was training some HS kids to ref. Just a few minutes after we started the second half, the coach's son missed three consecutive open layups. The coach was sitting down on the metal bench and slammed his hand down on it.
He screamed and raised his arm. You could tell just by looking at his hand hanging there that he had done something really bad to it. He kept screaming so we stopped the game. His hand was swelling up and turning blue! He left immediately to go to the emergency room and his AC took over. The following week I learned the HC had fractured his wrist and broken some of his fingers including his thumb. Talk about really being "into" the game!
