Indirect technical

I am reading all indirect technicals charged to head coach do not count towards team fouls. What constitues indirect to coach can't find a specific answser. Would that be along the longs of illegally equipped player or players name not in the book?

Look on page 70 of the NFHS Rule Book. The summary is right there for you.

No, look at the technical foul chart in the back of the book.

In a nutshell, the head coach is responsible for the actions of the whole bench.
Any member of bench personnel gets a technical foul, it is also charged to the head coach, as an indirect.

But it also says 2 techs toward ejection, team-foul count. What exactly does that mean?

Two directs (i.e, things the coach does to directly deserve the T) is an EJ.

So is three total.

Two direct technicals always equals an ejection. Any combination of of direct technicals and indirect technicals that equals 3 means ejection for the head coach.

Locker room or building?

The question I have at this point is where is the ejected coach supposed to go? My book says the team locker room or leave the building. If the ejection is in the 1st half, what is to prevent the coach from doing some half time coaching even though he is prohibited from any further contact? As officials, can we specify that he is to leave the building?

10-6 Penalty

Note: A single flagrant foul, the second direct technical foul or third technical (any combination of direct or indirect) charged to the head coach results in disqualification and ejection. Ejected adult bench personnel shall leave the vicinity (out of sight and sound) of the playing area immediately and are prohibited from any further contact (direct or indirect) with the team during the remainder of the game. Failure to comply with the rules of ejection may result in the game being forfeited.
