I know some of you guys might be interested...
Here is the link to our website: http://www.uboa.org We have our evaluation form and the results of the evaluations (by our member id number to maintain anonymity) evaluation form is under the form link the results are under the Salt Lake link we dont have the other two areas up yet. We are trying to improve our evaluations so they are not so subjective..... |

What are these evaluations for?
Of course these are to help officials get better, but do these evaluations serve a larger purpose. You know like playoff implications are a result? And who evaluates the officials and are they evaluated by someone every game?
Peace

Each varsity official is supposed to do 5-10 per season on JV officials. Senoir JV officials evaluate sophs...
We want to get to a point that we have evaluators at most game sites evaluating everybody. That is a year or two off... Right now we are trying to do something consistent to advance lower level officials |

You guys seem to be on the right track. We are also trying to make our evaluation process better. At the sub-varsity level, the evaluation is self-initiated. The JV official writes up how they felt they did and passes it to the varsity officials for input. I like the process. The JV official has the option to have the evaluation be official (if they thought it was a good game), or non-official if the JV official knows they had a bad game and is simply looking for some feedback.
