What an awful game.....
 

Boys varsity....3 man. # 10 team in the state vs someone lets say not in the top 10. 36 fouls in the first half. That's thirty friggin six. Double bonus with 3 min to go in first quarter. Half time discussion...this has got to get better in the second half right???!!! Umm no. Double bonus in third quarter with 2 minutes left; then a tweet - throw the other player to the ground in front of his home crowd almost starting a Sportcenter-esque fight - Flagrent Technical/Ejection.

Ended up with 65 fouls. God it was awful. Varsity girls game was fine...no issues. Started the pair of games @ 6 - left at 9:45. Now to fill out the state mandated ejection report. Yeeee - friggin - haw.........

Hope that is your one for the year. On to better games.

Derwil - I had a game similar to yours last week. Don't know the exact foul count, but we were in the bonus with about 1:30 to go in the first quarter. My P's and I talked about cleaning it up at half time. Wasn't to be. Third quarter we were in the bonus with about 2:00 left.

They set the tempo, we set the tone......they just never got it. Guess they were tone death. :rolleyes:

I had the same experience last week. It was GV/BV doubleheader. GV game tipped at 6 PM. We left at 9:55. I don't have clue what the foul totals were. But, it seemed like it took us as long to play the 4th quarter of the GV game as it took to play the first 3. Ugly - ugly - ugly!!!

Isn't that show off the air? Wait - maybe not in Alabama. :rolleyes:
