Time out? College Women
 
If an official sounds his whistle because he believes a coach is requesting a Timeout (coach has a closed fist which is a play). Must the TO be granted? thanks

I'm pretty sure this TO does not need to be granted at any level.

This is the second time I've heard this. Is a closed fist a visable request for a timeout by coaches in many areas? I've never seen this used in my area (Eastern MA).
