Dave Nelson, long time official from Utah, died Sunday October 27 at a hospital in Orem. He has battled liver problems for years and had 2 liver transplants. Funeral services are set for Thursday, October 31, at 11 am at the Timpview Stake Center 1050 N 600 West in Orem.
Dave was a great guy and an outstanding official. He worked in the WAC for many years and helped a lot of young officials, myself included, to step their game up several notches.
