Here are my choices for tonites final game:

Referee - Jim Burr
U1 - Scott Thornley
U2 - Ed Hightower

Remember, according to the NCAA, any listing of odds in any newspaper in the USA will influence the officials.

Scott Thornley will not officiate tonight, although he is a great official. No offical from West of the Rockies has officiated in the fast two final fours, (including this years). It will be a group of offcials (my guess) from the East. It's unfortunate that the Div. I Basketball Committee makes the decision on who officiates, not Hank Nicoles.

You may be right; but if I am not mistaken Scott officiated the semis last year--so logical assumption that he officiates the final.
I personally (strictly my opinion) hope that David Hall doesn't.
At a camp in 1993 he was critiquing me and told me after the game that if I "could show him in the NCAA book where illegal use of hands was written" that he would buy me dinner. Well I showed him, he laughed and then left. Of course I did not get a dinner!

I hope I never have to make a mistake with you. You hold a grudge a long time. Apperently the NCAA thought that Dave Hall has matured enough to call the last nights game.
