OT - can I borrow some money for meds?

Just checked my schedule for the rest of the month and, starting tomorrow night, I have 21 games in 14 days. One of the days I don't have a game I have a referee meeting. I guess I can take it easy that night.

Oh yeah, if guys cancel, I could get more games. What about you guys?

BTW - it was a good thing my pharmacy was open today on the holiday.

I had a game Friday night and then four Sat morning/afternoon. I was tired by the end of game five in less than 18 hrs. I have pretty much learned my limit and won't overextend myself too much anymore.

This week I have one - Tues, two - Wed, two - Thurs, one - Fri, and four - Sat. That's my busiest week of the yr so far and may be the most I do all season.

Of course, our weather is looking CRAPPY, so I may lose some of these games anyhow. :(

Isn't It Illegal To Play Basketball At 8:00 a.m. ???

Had three Catholic school "varsity" (eighth grade) games starting at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning, part of a three day Martin Luther King weekend tournament. Showered, changed, and hit the road to observe a junior varsity prep school game before working my 1:00 p.m. varsity prep school game. Showered, changed, and made 5:00 p.m. mass.

I normally don't work the little kids Catholic school games on the same day that I do high school varsity games, but my Catholic school assigner was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He had to schedule officials for both the "varsity" tournament, as well as the regular weekend Catholic school "junior varsity" games. One of his regular officials, who works a ton of games for him, was unavailable due to a death in the family. My assigner was also up against a larger than normal high school schedule due to Saturday makeup games that were postponed due to the blizzard we had in midweek. So I felt obligated to help him out. Busy day, hectic schedule, but I came home with $188.28.

I know that this is nothing compared to what some of you guys work, but it was a busy day for me. Many of you could have done this blindfolded, with your hands tied behind your back.

Shouldn't your pre-existing condition be covered?
