Admitting kicking a call

One of the all time greats Earl Strom in his book "Calling the Shots" said he never had a problem in admitting it when he kicked a call, of course like everyone else said, you don't want to do it more than once in a game. Earl also said he didn't have a problem with changing a call if it was the right thing to do. Pride shouldn't get in the way of getting the call right. I thought it was amusing that Earl came out after halftime in San Antonio one night and wiped out a basket that he had scored at the end of the half. After talking it over with his partner he felt like he had made a mistake, and that the shot came too late. He got fined for changing the score by the NBA, but his point was he got the play right, and that was all that mattered.
