I used to not like Geno, but he has sort of grown on me.

To the contrary, I've seen him more tonight than I did after the National Championship game.

Ugh. I DVR'd the game. Didn't even think to avoid the forum.

I like how they interviewed him after the game instead of the winning coach. Idiots at ESPN....

I'm gonna miss it. The evil empire that they were.......

Now, will we see or hear about the women's game at all?

But it was only women's volleyball? Wait a minute? I am being told by the control room that the UCONN basketball streak was also achieved by women's team. Nevermind.

Who cares about streaking women anyway? (C'mon Mark Padgett. It's a softball. I teed it up for you. Go ahead. What harm would it do? It's a victimless crime.)

They interviewed Tara V too, and for longer than the face time Geno got. And Geno was classy, gave credit where credit was due.

Yes, and most of the questions were about the streak. She finally had to tell the idiot, "Hey, this is about Stanford tonight!"

Seems like it is always Stanford messing things up for the contenders...

I'm no UCONN or Geno Fan. I'm a sports fan.

But for me, I don't care if it's Little League Baseball, Softball, AAU Basketball, Pop Warner Football, HS Hockey, or women's college volleyball, I give him and the program some props. That's a lot of wins in a row at any level in any sport. Period.

I don't think many are not impressed with the streak.

Agreed. No one said it wasn't impressive.

Very impressive, but I hate the comparisons to other sports that do not relate including Men's basketball. The volleyball record set the last couple years is also very impressive. When you can dominate your sport at that level for that many games that is always impressive.
