I know. But, sometimes, depending on the exact start times, and with the differnt lenght quarters, you might stick your head in the V gym, if just to ask, "WTF kind of call was that?"

I'm still scratching my head over why this guy calling himself "bob jenkins" on this discussion board uses the same pseudonym when he actually meets people and functions in public.
Either it's a clever tactic of effective redundancy for the sake of ultimate anonymity, or an attempt at not allowing people to match the face with a name that doesn't work.
Or am I thinking too much.

You are thinking too much. In public, there is a capital B and a capital J. I suspect.

I would have, but only if our first game didn't start late AND go to overtime! My third overtime game in three weeks. Mark Padgett where are you when I need you!

The coach of one of the teams in my second game was a guy I used to ref intramurals with with in college. Good to catch up with him.

For a nominal fee, I can send you a small photo of myself that you can tape to the side of your whistle. Whenever you work a game that might lead to OT, you can look at my photo for inspiration. Just send me your debit card number and PIN.
