YouTube - Basketball Referee Symbols

:D:D:D

I was going to post this video of myself at some point to give you guys comprehensive mechanics instruction. And yes, I'm available for clinics!

LOL! "If he's giving him the business..."

I do like his thoughts on coaches arguing around the four minute mark.

This is a must-watch.

Welpe Wed Dec 22, 2010 12:31am

I think he went off script for a while there. Clearly he had not one but two Shirley Temples before embarking on this courageous endeavor.

I wait with bated breath for his baseball video.

Oh and you can consider that "Over and Back" signal stolen.

I'm a fan of the goaltending signal myself. And whichever violation he used the shot clock violation mechanic for.

And yes, the baseball video will be epic.

Hmmmmmmm...........

I saw bainsey's rules interpreter give the exact same talk at a rules clinic. Plagiarism? Probably...but by which one?

:D

BillyMac Wed Dec 22, 2010 07:33am

I Thought He Was From Chicago ???

I did not know that Mark Padgett has a Southern accent. Did you all?

BillyMac Wed Dec 22, 2010 07:34am

Let's have a poll: this kid's videos vs. the Expert Village videos. :D

Just watched the video. The play ball was great...also good for "raise the roof" or "Praise the Lord!" :D

Hey! Watch your language!!

For those that haven't been around long enough - Dexter is the name of a guy who used to post on here (haven't seen anything from him in a long time) and it sort of turned into the word used in place of a certain four letter word that the forum will not allow you to use...as in "Shut the dexter up"...

Now, back to comments on the video...gotta love the "this is all basic stuff, y'all."

Back In The Saddle Wed Dec 22, 2010 02:47pm

I love the kid's YouTube name. I can just see the coach/captain meeting: "Hello, gentlemen. This is my partner is Joe, and I, I am Lord Vader. You will refer to me as such. Do not disappoint me."
