For all of you who are working ball in the fall, have you or have you seen called more elbow violations called now that it is a violation?

Nope. I really haven't even seen too much (excessive) swinging elbows from the get-go, let alone since word of the new rule begins to spread. Not to say that I've never called it, but I can't say this play has ever stood out in my mind as a problem area.

If you use the Fox and keep the kids from clutching and grabbing from the beginning, you shouldn't have to worry about this rule. I think this kind of goes hand-in-hand with the NFHS making rough play a point of emphasis for the ump-teenth time in a row?

Brian,
I came close a coupla times, that is I considered it, but I decided the rebounder was jerking away and not toward.
I haven't made the call as yet.
