H.S. 3 person Mechanics
I had a discussion with a friend the other night and went to look in my mechanics book but couldn't find the book, so I thought I'd throw the question out there in hopes of someone being able to reference the mechanics or at the very least offer opinions.
I know college men's we don't bounce the ball across the key but rather go over to the player and force C to go to L. In the women's game it is a mechanic to not force a rotation but rather to bounce the ball across the key. What about H.S.? |

![]() I don't know that you'll find one, what you'll find is an absence of a reference to any exceptions to the mechanics that would allow for that.

There is nothing in the Mechanics Manual about not bouncing the ball in the backcourt - including on the end line.
3.2.2.A.8 specifically says " When administering throw-ins on the frontcourt end line the ball shall be handed to the thrower. That doesn't mean you won't get chastised for bouncing it though!
