James Naismith's first basketball rules up for auction - ESPN He called me from his attic last night and said he was hunting for his original copy he had stashed there many years ago. Obviously with this sale he won't find them. As to all those other books he claims to have stashed in the attic also I'm not holding my breath he finds those either. Just my opinion.
