Promoted but out for the season

Been a while since I have been on. Promoted to Certified with the IHSA this season... however, I'm out for the season after being run over by a pick up a few weeks ago. Long story, but lets just condense it to this... Yamaha scooter meets Chevy Silverado. Chevy wins. I was on the scooter. Left leg got run over by the front tire from ankle to above knee. Know anyone who wants an official on crutches?

Ouch! Did you see the video of the University of Iowa lineman who had a similar accident but walked away and played the next weekend?

Missed that one... however, I did walk into the ER and said, "I just got hit by a pickup!"

Here's a link to the video:
Iowa Lineman

Apparently, I was wrong in that he didn't play that weekend.

Ouch!

As someone who was runover by a van while walking my dog a few yrs back, I can certainly sympathize with you (lady was talking on the cell phone - she saw the dog and NOT me, nice).

Best wishes on a speedy and full recovery!

Also, I have one word for you - v o l l e y b a l l

Sounds like a country music song. You all get better now. You hear?

I know a guy who had his head run over and he ended up running a shot clock.

My favorite country song is, "It's So Lonely In The Saddle Since My Horse Died." It's sung by Tammy Whynot.
