Simultaneous fouls
 
What happens if there are simultaneous fouls during a play? One involves say an illegal screen by A3 while the other is a flagrant on B5 for elbowing A5? B5 is ejected and A5 gets free throws. Does A3 get a personal foul on him as well?

Assuming they happen at the same time, why wouldn't he?

So on a rules test the possible answers are as follows for which is NOT part of the administration of the call:

A3 and B5 both charged with fouls
B5 ejected
A5 awarded two FTs for flagrant foul
Play resumed from spot closest to where ball was.

Assuming there are no FTs awarded then as my answer.

Correct, it's a simultaneous foul, no free throws.

Since these are simultaneous, no free throws are awarded. It seems strange since you want to award free throws for the flagrant. But since they happened at the same time, no free throws, even though one was much more severe than the other.
