What the heck did this mean?

At the conclusion of the Oregon State - Charlotte game tonight, the camera showed a person at the table wearing an official's jersey with both his arms up in the air and with his thumbs pointing up, as if he was signaling a jump ball.

Any clues?

Could he have been signaling to the referees that all was good at the table?

it sounds like a unique and stylish way of giving the R a "tumbs up" before the crew "leaves the visual confines of the playing floor"...which we all know is important for purposes of "fixing" any error or problem that may exist in the official scorebook....
