First One is Done
Just did my first girls J/V scrimmage. Here are my takeaways:
1) Need to gain more court awareness...where to stand and where to look and anticipate plays 2) Remember to Stop the clock not just blow whistle and then signal foul or violation 3) Rushing and more Rushing...many on here said SLOW DOWN 4) My pants kept slipping down when I was running down the court ;) I would love to here some of your comments and experiences.... |

Lastly, as far as # 4, have you thought about suspenders? :D |
A flex belt may help with #4. Not loading your pockets with keys, wallet, watch & other stuff can help as well.
|
Regarding #4, Honig's has two different belts, designed to be worn inside the pants, that keeps the shirt in and the pants up. I use the flex belt and it works great.

And unless you have a 50" waist, trimming off some of the length can avoid a TP moment. |

I tried the belt. It works okay, but you know what works even better? Soccer shorts.
Wear soccer shorts under the pants, and tuck the shirt into the shorts. |
You could always have Velcro strips sewn onto your waist. And also onto your pants. :D

Tucking your shirt into your compression shorts works if all you're wanting to do is keep your shirt tucked in. The flex belt really helps keep your pants up as well, so I always wear it.
