In some areas, for FED the official writes the state.

(And, to be clear, it doesn't really matter for teh C-level game in the back gym).

If it's an issue to you, take it up with the AD. Or, just be sure it gets covered the next time the floor is refinished.

Clarification: 1-13-2 (Coaching Box) & 1-17 ("X" locates scorer)

Concerning back/secondary gym: Last year there were Varsity games played there due to the main gym having another event happening. Same can be said for this year.

(I realize that different states have different regs about the coaching box)

These questions I was thinking of while watching ESPN yesterday & remembering that not all gyms here in the area have the X marking.
