Season Begins Tonight

Passed the state exam yesterday and now the season starts with the opener for two district county rival schools. It has been a long 4 months between the end of the AAU season and the start of the HS season. Almost advil time. Then the 25 mile drive north to the game site.

Good luck Gapper. I look forward to your report!

And don't forget to test the ball for proper air pressure. :)

Took mine yesterday afternoon and worked a Girls-V pre-season game last night. Felt good to shake the rust off. Did your test have that d-amn Q.44 from the Fed on it (personal vs. unsporting foul)? Mine did and I think they scored me incorrect on it.

Got a 94. Not sure if that one was on there or not. I skipped 2 & went back at the end. I know I got one of those wrong. I did not need even half of the allotted 50 minutes.

Game prior to ours lasted forever. Ours got to 35 points with 4:16 left in the 3rd quarter. One player looked puzzled when she was fouled with about 25 seconds left and she was left stranded at the FT line and did not take any FTs as the clock ran out.

Around here private schools start the regular season the week of Thanksgiving and public schools can't start until December 1st.

My one (and only :D ) HS scrimmage isn't until November 23rd. My first HS game is November 26th.

Prior to all that I will have worked 2 college games.

I only missed two questions and I think that funky FED one was one of them. I never come close to using the allotted time. My record was 18 minutes to completion two years ago. This year, it was 22 minutes.

Online testing sure beats schlepping to a high school and taking it on paper in a room with 100 other guys.

I started last Monday, and worked 4 MS boy's games. HS starts first of December.

Had a whole day off between end of HS soccer playoffs and beginning of BBall. Switched out the bags and away!!

Looking forward to the season!

Started off my season tonight with a girl's jr high game.

T'd up three players, called 15 travels and puked on the coach's shoes.

No wait, that was Padgett's game. Mine was plain vanilla, still rusty though.

NOW, that was Padgett's game.
