Tanner, it's been a privilege getting work with you from the time you were absolutely green and scared to death, till now. You have worked harder than any young official I have been around. Keep up the good work in your new area. And keep that Illinois license. I would love to be able to work a tournament game or two with you for as long as my knees will allow!

Ky hs

Good Luck in KY. I used to live in KY and know the system. KY does things very different than most states. The state hires an assigner for each region. You can find out who that is in your area by going to khsaa.org

There are some pluses and some minuses on this. You can only work in one region in KY. The only exception to that is Louisville and Lexington both have two districts that cover the area. The officials all work both regions.

Louisville is very difficult region. They many officials and they have a pecking order. Most other regions are more flexible.

IN is totally different. Most AD assign their own games and have them scheduled for the next several years.

You can work both sides of the state line but it will take time to get in. Good Luck and get registered immediately with both states.

Can't decide huh? Are you moving back to the same area?

I moved half way across the country last year, I don't even want to entertain the thought of having to get reestablished somewhere else.

No, different area (by about 3 hours).

Looking forward to being back... not looking forward to packing/moving again.

Naw, Indiana tightened their immigration laws.

Of course, on the plus side sending Tanner back to Illinois raises the collective IQ of both states.

Well according to some sources, you do have a separate POD for just officiating gear so I can see that.

Good luck on the move.

Is this proof that the Simpson's Springfield is actually in Illinois? Is Illinois bordered by Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky?
