The legacy lives on

I had a job interview yesterday. When I told them I referee basketball, the potential new boss man immediately asked, "What's the going rate to throw a game this year?"

Tim Donaghy's legacy lives on. :(

During Spring/Summer league games each team pays 20 to play. I had one parent/coach ask me why the teams had to pay so much for officials. I told them look, it costs $20 to play, $50 to win.......

I told him I didn't know, but that I had Donaghy on speed dial if he really wanted to find out. Got a laugh; we moved on.
