SF Pro Am- foul or no call
nothing really controversial.
saw something about Matt Barnes playing in it so I checked it out. Some high level players in it. 225 mark. Drive by the yellow team. Then again with the drive by the red team. Hard to tell there because of the angle. YouTube - Matt Barnes & Collin Chiverton Shine In San Francisco Pro Am Finals vs SF City; CRAZY Highlights! looks like the refs had their hands full but seemed like a fun game to do...at least compared to those low down dirty wreck games:rolleyes: http://articles.sfgate.com/2010-08-1...ream-team-fans http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/matt-b...gue-game-28820 |

It was the Monday night game right?
They had a 3-game series for the championship of this "wreck league" ;) I actually went to quite a few games this summer too. oh and as far as that call after the 225 mark, I got a CC on my chart :D |
The backboard slap after the dunk at 2:13 clearly warrants a T.
I'm not a fan of these semi-pro games worked by guys trying to get to the NBA. |
Well the semi-dunk at the 0:24 mark is basket interference because the ball took an unnatural bounce when the rim snapped back into place.
definitely a technical at 2:13 for the chin up and slap The drive by the yellow player and consequent contact by the red player is illegal. He tried to jump straight up by his trajectory was still toward the offensive player. |

NBA rules being used here?
It would look as if that is the case (SFGate article in the OP didn't say) since I noticed that during the free throws at the end of the clip the players lined up the NBA way (3 def. and 2 off.). Not to mention the officials wore the same-if-not-similar style shirt the NBA officials wore a few seasons ago. It would seem as if most pro-am leagues do use NBA rules or some variation thereof...
