OT - sad story about Dean Smith
 

What is left unsaid is the "A" word. I just lost my Dad last month. He was having memory loss issues. Parkinson', Lewy Bodies, Alzheimer's are all related. Dementia and not being oneself along with the inability to find the right words can also be symptoms. Fortunately, for us, it was not the long goodbye. It still hurt. But there was not the long term suffering and loss of recognition that makes it very painful. I hope the Smith family is as fortunate.
