Doing some more digging, it looks like the person in the back row, second from right is J. Dallas Shirley.

I found an accomplished college basketball player name Matty Begovich, associated with St. Johns listed as 6'5". Seems likely to be the big fella at the left side.

I sent that picture yesterday to a retired ol'(older than me, by at least 10 years) officiating buddy now living down in Tampa Bay. He came out of the old CYO parish basketball system in 50's Brooklyn and he knew Johnny Nuccatola real well. He should recognize or know a few of them, hopefully. Waiting to hear back.

Just heard back. No luck. Brooklyn Bob left Noo Yawk in '65 and moved to where I live. He said that several sure looked familiar but he can't put a name to 'em.

Perhaps the front far left gent. Picture is a 1955 Bowman baseball card set #258 an umpire named John W. Stevens. John W. Stevens is the 10th listed President of CBOA - 1958-59. He is pictured in link below.
