As an academically trained geologist, it really bugs me that Tyrannosaurus rex is, because of the movie, associated with the Jurassic Period. Tyrannosaurus rex lived in the Cretaceous Period, approximately sixty-eight to sixty-five million years ago. About an eighty million year error. The movie should have been called Mesozoic Park.
