bark like a dog

at regionals this weekend I saw a girl do the barking dog routine durring the final minute of a game they were getting blown out in. Anyone else ever see this? It wasn't near as funny as the reff immitating it in the officials room the next day.:D

Unsporting behavior...non basketball play...whack...get rid of this stupid crap that coaches think up!

No T. I think it caught the officials by suprise. Evidently this girl had taken it upon herself to do this. The players on the bench were laughing and the coahing staff just looked shocked. I had seen it on you tub before so i probably would have wacked her. that is just not part of the game.

Not sure if it's an old case play or interp, but I remember the Fed coming out with a ruling that said a T should be assessed here.

It seems pretty unsporting to me. Plyer drawing undue attention to herself. A number of reasons for a T here.

Old interp.

That said, since it seemed to be just the one girl , and the team was getting blown out late, I might choose to address it some way other than with a T.

Thanks, and I agree. When he first said it, I was assuming it was the play from youtube where it was a set play incorporating the distracting tactic. In this case, I'd probably still go with the T but might not. Hard to say, really.
