20 Seconds, Right?

Did the new rule change move the time limit to replace a disqualified player from 30 seconds to 20 seconds??

Thanks

A couple of years ago, yes.

Five seconds, then warning horn, then fifteen seconds, then final horn.

Alright thanks. Had a game last week where the coach thought he had 2 MINUTES, told him he had 20 seconds to replace a disqualified player. Afterwards my partner was a little skeptical about it being 20 seconds.

haha yep. I'm only 18 and my partner informed me that the coach is a Y and Rec league official and probably knew better than to say 2 minutes (I guess this is why he was never a high school official). Guess his test didn't work, but it was a good laugh. 2 minutes would have been enough time to grab something to eat and return to the court

and they have the full 20 seconds to get a sub in, unlike a time out where a sub has to report prior to the first horn, correct?

Correct, but the sub better be there before that 2nd horn.
