Bench Technical

Saw a situation tonight where an official is standing in front of Home team's bench. He obviously heard profane language or some other act to lead him to administering a Bench Technical. My questions are:

1) This is also charged Indirectly to the Head Coach?
2) If he knew exactly who commited the act would that be a Direct Technical on the offender or still Bench?
3) Does the Bench Technical count towards the Team's Foul Total?

Thanks:)

10-4 "The head coach is responsible for his/her own conduct and behavior, as well as . . . all other bench personnel."

The bench offender didn't do himself or his coach any favors.

1) Yes. Coach loses his box.
2) Yes. Counts toward potential disqualification (2 T's or 5 personal fouls)
3) Yes.

To be fair, the summary table in the back of the book does list it as "5 Personal".

And just to be clear regarding #2, it's still an indirect on the HC as well.
