A first for me
 

A large feeder/travel tourney over the holiday for 8th grade teams, always very competitve games and plenty of goofy coaches.

A cross court pass that A2 jumps for but is blindsided by B2 and ends up on the floor as pass sails out of bounds. Tweet, appropriate foul called and reported. B coach is yelling, "no way that's a foul, he never would have caught it, it was over his head"

Isn't that an NFL rule related to pass interference?:eek:

Did he wave his hand parallel to the top of his head while yelling at you?

Could've called intentional for dead-ball foul, haha. That would've pissed the coach off even more!

WRONG. Contact which is judged to be a common foul during a live ball would be ignored if it took place during a dead ball.

"I agree coach, he shouldn't have committed that foul".
