A first for me

A small college game that was very physical from the outset. During a break, a player asks me to watch White 12 "He's grabbing my crotch". So over the next few minutes, I pay close attention to those two in the post. What do you know, W12 is posting up and he grabs his opponent in the crotch. I say grab but I'm not sure if he squeezed or punched in the crotch but he put his hand there on purpose.

Do you guys think this merits an ejection? We use FIBA in Canada so I could an unsportsmanlike foul which is two FTs and possession (the equivalent of an intentional). After the play, I was thinking that I maybe should have ejected him. His coach asked me what happened and he never put W12 in the game again.

Is this called a "reach around" move?

Just tell the two guys to get a room and then play on. ;)

Gone

Yes. I'd say flagrant technical. It appears the player was purposely trying to cause harm.

NCAA Rule 9 Section 6 Violation for fisting the ball

You could make a case for the guy having player control. After all, he was holding or dribbling a live ball inbounds. ;)

Well, this "player control foul" is getting him tossed!

Who teaches such things or where does a player get such ideas? It's nuts (pun intended!)
