Throw-in Violation?

A1 is attempting a throw-in. The ball is bounced and contacts the END LINE and then is controlled by A2 inbounds. Would this be a violation for the ball contacting the end line?

As I understand, a player may contact a endline/sideline when making a throw-in since they have OOB status and the line is OB, but they may not touch the inbounds court.

Thanks!

The player may contact the endline, but he must throw the ball directly onto the court for the throw-in pass. If the ball bounces OOB and then goes to a player or the floor in bounds, it's a violation for failing to throw it directly onto the court.
