Yes some of us are working. I have two games today and I am right now in a hotel waiting to work those games in a couple of hours. ;)

I'm wasting away at work today, wishing I had more vacation time and champing at the bit to get back on the court. My next games aren't until January 5th. :(

I am not working a game until tomorrow (Kansas, IL). Until then I will beat my head against my desk.

A few tournament games which I'm done with and now doing some day soph boys tournies around Chicago which I always love over holidays. I always take days off during break.

No games until Jan. 5th or 6th, probably. I could have had two this week but it would have meant driving to the other side of Portland, and it's just such a hassle to stop and exchange money and show your passport when you cross over the river to the east side. :D

Well, 2 days before a big X-mas tournament here we got our games snatched. Apparently an out-of-town organization came in with a lower bid.

So I have 1 whole game this week.

Gee, I hope that out of town org can do it in the future, because if I were you guys, I'd tell them to shove it next year.

I'll reserve my comments on the situation until we get the full story. But it was disheartening. It's a pretty good tournament with a mix of local and out-of-town teams. I was looking forward to working it.

Maybe your organization ought to pay the out of towners a visit to their local areas and start poaching games. I'm sure they'd really appreciate that.
