basketball pants/slacks

pleated or no? Can't decide, want to know what you all prefer to wear when officiating.

The only way to represent is in a flat front pair of pants, preferably with a belt.

Most people wear the pleated slacks.

:D LOL

Now we don't want representing thinking flat fronts and belts are the norm. I figured I'd let him off easy considering it is Christmas.

Ok, ok... how about this:

Speaking of belts.... make sure you get patent leather. :p

Pleated pants allow for more movement.

Belts are not allowed by the NCHSAA.

Patent leather is appropriate for football, Tanner.

And make sure you get a really big belt buckle to go with it. And if you really want style, be sure to top it off with a byron collar shirt and make sure your pants have cuffs! Oh and don't forget the metal whistle with or without a rubber mouth grip.;)

Some of us still like belts. But then again, some of us arrive at the game in uniform.

Now, all we have to do is wait for one of the "photo posters" to respond with the obligatory Airplane Movie line and photo....... :p

... 'cos every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man. (ZZ Top)

Here in my little corner of the Provisions State:
1) Catholic middle school games, AAU games, CYO games, travel games, recreation league games, some public middle school games: Par for the course.
2) Some public school middle school games, all high school games, freshman, junior varsity, varsity: Definitely frowned upon. Business casual encouraged. Maybe a little better than business casual for prep school games.
