Thumbs down Stupid Weather!

Lost my third game tonight due to our most recent "Blizzard of the Century." All schools are closed for the remainder of the week.

Except for Tourneys, schools and Rec Leagues have now shut it down until after the holidays......

Booo, Hisss......

I'm getting a bit miffed at Old Man Winter!

Just lost my seventh game of the season due to SNOW! Grrrr!

The forecast is not looking good for this Friday and Saturday either which would lose me another seven more. Most cancellations I've ever suffered.

Anyone else having a crappy year of games being cancelled?! Worse years?

PS - Mr Moderator, Sir,

I know you don't like us resurrecting old threads, but thought I would in this case as it's not too old and it's still on target.

Normal winter up here in the north country, with the normal number of cancellations. Your cancellation rate sounds like our umpiring frustrations when the late March games they try to schedule get cancelled due to a foot of snow.

I just got back from 9 days in Hawaii where the temperatures were in the 70s and 80s. It was in the 30s when I landed in Houston on Sunday morning. My own personal misery.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for you?

A little sympathy would be appreciated.

Next time, send me to Hawaii in your place so you don't have to be subjected to such torture on your return....torture I'd happily endure.

I lost 3 games due to the "snow storm" in Houston in early December. Of course, a snow storm here is 1-2 inches

Down here in the river city, it's just as lousy. If my game today is cancelled (It was), it will be my fourth game in a row beginning with last Friday.

And here in lovely Wisconsin, I've lost only 1 game due to snow all season (I would've lost 2, but I was on a business trip and had gotten a sub). 32 of 33 dates have happened as planned.

I'm at a point in the season where I wouldn't be crushed if we had a little storm closing school for a few days.

Haven't lost a game yet and I'm from NE Wisconsin.

Almost like summer here.

Perhaps: but your conception of summer is 65° on July 15, nestled between 2 weeks of snow.

Sorry, can't help myself:

Orlando, Florida (Airport)

Clear
Humidity: 70%

I'm thinking of wearing a jacket to my game tonight.
