Never saw this before
Had an 8th grade boys game last night. One of the players on the visiting team would make most of his team's throw-ins. Sometimes, he would whip the ball around his back to throw it in, sometimes flip it from behind his head and sometimes bounce it in between his legs. He would do this even if all his teammates were being closely guarded. The amazing thing was that he never screwed up a pass. He must have does this at least a dozen times during the game. After about his third time, all the fans would cheer whenever he did it.
Oh yeah - he never did it at all on the floor, only on inbound plays. |
.... overtime? You had overtime, didn't you? :p
Ok, I'll go back and read the entire thread. |
The "Pistol Pete" of Inbounding!? Bizarre.
|
BTW - the home team was ahead by 18 with less than three minutes to go and the visiting HC had his team start to foul. I must have called three or four intentionals and my partner about the same, but they kept doing it right up to the final 15 seconds when the coach finally "gave up" being down by over 25.
That was really annoying. |

Did the pass between the legs bounce occur inbounds or on the line? Did anyone videotape this? |
And This Was A Scrimmage ...
