Speaking of omens
 

JVB game last night, show up a bit early to catch some of the freshman game. My partners tease the Frosh officials and let them know OT is not allowed. 5:30 (game time) rolls around and no sign of them, so I go check and there is 17 seconds left. We walk out a few minutes later and the lady at the door informs us it went overtime. Nice.

When they finally get done, we give them some crap, ask who was to blame, and jog out for our game. First half, V builds a mid-sized lead and holds it; up by 6 or so at half time. Second half, they forgot how to play defense and hit layups. 4th quarter, both teams forget how to hit layups and free throws, and we go into....wait for it.... overtime.

You should have knocked on wood.....

Boy - that was really funny. Now, what actually happened?

Karma came rearing its ugly head for making fun of the Frosh officials. :D

I must confess, my first game tonight, a 7th grade boys game, went into OT. Sorry Mark. :o

What I find amusing is.....
 

When I have a close or tied game that only has a few minutes left, I think of this Forum and all the discussions we have about OT.....always brings a smile to my face.

Of course, then I get over it, and hope someone wins in regulation!

Hahahaha! I do the same thing. I know I don't post very often, but I lurk multiple times a day (aka, I'm bored at work).
