Liability Question, Second Try

Do you ever decline an opportunity to officate in a rec league due to "lack of liability coverage" concerns?
I'm trying to identify if I'm covered if I consent to officiate in a local rec league. The league apparently has no coverage of its own, apparently expecting instead that each participant sign a liability waiver. They offered to include in the phraseology that any participant won't hold any official liable for anything as well, but that doesn't seem to be lawyer-proof to me.
My NASO coverage offers liability coverage while officiating in any "recognized league". But I'm having troubles finding the answer to the question, "Recognized by whom?"
Any insights from the educated, seasoned masses out there?

IMO, if you're working for a league that takes money from people and pays you, then you should be covered by the NASO policy. The exclusion applies if you're working street ball or the like.

Guess I'm Covered

A phone call to NASO, of which I'm a member, informed me that, due to my membership, their liability insurance covers me "for any league at any level."
Thanx for the previous response.
Guess I'll do it.
