I should know this...

A1 releases the ball for a three point shot. After the release but before the ball goes in the basket, A2 fouls B2. Is the basket good?

(I initially said "no basket", but after conferring with my partner, I changed my mind.)

6-7-7 and exceptions ("The ball becomes dead when ... a foul occurs; see exceptions")

My initial reaction was that the ball becomes dead according to 6.7.7.4, on player control or team control. My partner pointed out that team control ended upon the release of the shot which is why I changed my mind.

So I assume that we got it right? (Count the basket). If so, then to follow it one step further, if team B is in the bonus, we'd be shooting 1 and 1 up at the other end, correct?

Correct.

I had that exact situation a few weeks ago in a men's league actually. Made 3 pt and we shoot FT(s) on the other end
