First HS game in FL

Last minute addition to a 3 crew game tonight. No scrimmages to warm up this year. Must've done alright. In the last minute, I called a double dribble on the team that was ahead and that coach complained. And a little bit later, I called an intentional on the trailing team as the kid grabbed his opponent's jersey from behind. And the other coach complained.

Any problems with hurricanes, alligators, cottonmouths, or coral snakes. You didn't have to worry about them when you were back in good old New England. Remember that when you relaxing at the beach after a game. There may be a coral snake sneaking up behind you.

Is your son overseas yet? How's he doing?

Hoping to see my son in a couple weeks. He heads over in Jan. My wife is in VT right now and I may head up shortly Her mother is gravely ill. Took her to the airport in Sanford today. Thanks for asking.

Glad to hear the game went well. Sorry to hear about your MIL.

It is not looking good. Hoping she can hang on until the grandkids get there from Boston.

Welcome to Florida (and coral snakes aren't normally found on the beach).

Alright, I'll concede that to you, there may not be coral snakes on the beach, but I bet there isn't delicious maple syrup on the beach either.

I believe you are correct...but I am willing to bet maple syrup would make a good sunscreen.

Yes. One is reptilian and sometimes spews venom...and the other, well...is a snake.
