I'm having trouble with my feet. What are the best inserts to use?

Take this from someone who has had a myriad of foot problems through the years. OUCH!!

The best ones you can get come from a podiatrist or orthopedic specialist. If your feet really hurt, my suggestion is to go see one soon. The dr. will be able to help you more than any of us and if it is a serious problem, it will be taken care of quicker and with less pain than if you try everyones solutions and they don't happen to work for you.

Take good care of your feet. It pays off in the long run.

Stripes,
By the way, who was the Doctor that took care of your
foot problems? I've been having some nagging pain in my left foot that I thought was just Plantar problems, but
I was recently told it's a fifth metatarsal problem. (read-possible stress fracture) I hope it's not, but it is almost off season.

For non-prescription insert I like sorbothane ultra's, they are blue and orange, and work better than any other product out there, I feel.

Of course there will always be the spenco vs dr. scholls vs sorbothane argument, so it really needs to be what feels best for you.

The Dr is Francis Clark. His office is out by Jordan Valley Hospital. He ran track in college and understands the mindset that you won't just sit on your @$$ for 6 months to let it heal. He's a good guy in my book. If he's not on you ins. list, you might try Thomas Schiffgan. My brother has tried him and likes him quite well.

BTW, I was going to respond to your email, but I hit delete when I wanted reply, so I'll do it in a minute.

I am going to the game tonight because my 8 yr old daughter is going with a church group. Al Higham's (head of security at the DC--he told me he knows you) wife is their leader and were all going to the game. I'll look for you and try to get your attention.

Drake, I've got a lot of availability, if you need a fill-in. :) Seriously, tho, I hope it's not a fracture. Good luck.

Chuck
