NCAA President Myles Brand Dies
 

On another website -- Coaches' lapel pin - Basketballrefs.com -- we talked about Chuck Daly's illness and death at the hands of pancreatic cancer back during the NBA playoffs. Myles Brand was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in January of this year. He died Wednesday, just days after Patrick Swayze died of the same disease. Brand was just 67 years old.
