Dribbling with other parts of the body, legal?
Hello, long time i didnt ask a question so here it come:
1) Is it legal to dribble with other parts of the body (ofcourse foot not include) ? 2) Is it matter if question 1 is intentional or unintenional? 3) Is it ok if while dribbling, the ball touch the body accidently ? 4)What about the case of regular dribbling end, then released from hands touching the floor, and then jump back touching the body (lets say chest) is it double dribble? |
Dribbling is an intentional act. Anytime someone dribbles they are doing it on purpose. Simply contacting a body part does not constitute a dribble has taken place or that the contact has anything to do with a dribble.
You are really over thinking this rule. Seriously. ;) Peace |
Put Your Hand In The Hand Of The Man ...
NFHS 4-15: A dribble is ball movement caused by a player in control who bats (intentionally strikes the ball with the hand(s)) or pushes the ball to the floor once or several times.
