Insoles

Gettin ready for a new year...got a pair of the Spot Built pattent leathers. Wore them at a couple camps this summer and they didn't feel like they were doing my legs any favors.

What are your recomendation on insoles? I purchased some Spenco Polysorbs for work and they are so so. Any better ones out there?

Stop messing around with new shoes and insoles and instead get new feet. :D

If the new feet advice just doesn't work for you, check out this site - FootSmart. I've had good luck finding various products (knee, ankle, & foot) that are working for me.

I have used insoles named Powerstep.

If the new shoes aren't comfortable, then changing the insoles is not likely to help very much. My guess is that the shoes aren't right for your feet..

I agree with Bob. Spot Built are notorious for their poor design and construction. You get what you pay for.

That may be true today, but it wasn't always true. Back when I first started, twenty-eight years ago, I bought two pairs of Spot Builts. This was back when officials shoes looked, and were constructed, more like shoes than like sneakers. They took a mirror-like polish, that lasted. and lasted. I had the soles replaced several times, and went through several pairs of shoelaces. Finally after about a dozen years, yes they lasted that long, the uppers started to weaken. I loved those shoes. The only bad part was I had to fill in the white spot on the back of each shoe with a black marker, otherwise they were perfect.

Superfeet.

...But as other said, your real problem might be the shoe itself...and new insoles are not likely to fix that.

You might have a look at these... basketballrefshoes.com - Home

I've used them for a few seasons and am impressed.

I use these insoles. When I'm not working a game, I hang them from my car mirror.
