If you do, what does it do for you? What kind of tournament/games to you referee? Has it been beneficial to you? Any other information about refereeing for USA basketball would be appreciated.

Stripes,

Are you talking about your FIBA card? USA Basketball, as far as I know is the US governing body for international ball falling under the FIBA umberalla as well as national competitions. I'd assume that if you're licensed to referee for USA basketball you'd be a possible selection for a FIBA card.

Just a guess...

No. USA basketball grants a license first and then the governing body of USA Basketball makes recommendations to FIBA about getting a FIBA card.

the usabasketball website has all the info you need. As far as personal experience goes. I know of two people who have done it but I do not have there email address. If you will send me an email. I'll send you a phone number.

The problem, for me anyway, is that the usabasketball website doesn't have the info. They have what you need to register, but that is all.
