Well fellow referees, I got the call......Tomorrow night at 9:00pm I will be the Referee for the Washington State 1A girls basketball
championship game in the Tacoma Dome.......
I am honored to be called and humbled by the trust and respect shown to me by my fellow officials.

Congrats! It's difficult to describe that feeling to people who aren't involved with this advocation. When you get that call, you can't think of anything else until it's over. It's a phenomenal experience, enjoy it because you never know if you'll get another chance.

Congratulations! The first time is the best and everyone after that has its moments. No matter how many times Ive been there, I get goose bumps and my stomach is churning.

To be recognized as competent enough to work a championship game at any level shows what hard work will do.

Too bad that everyone in our profession cannot call at least one of these.
