Help??

Hey Everyone
I am a 19 year old male. I am six feet five inches and I want to take basketball seriously, and turn it into a career. The is a major problem in the way, and I need your advice on something. I went to a new high school and I did not get notice by any colleges, but I am very good. So I ended up going to a community college for various reasons. I play for the community college basketball team and I am one of the best players on the team. I am about to hit 20 years old and I am wondering if I should transfer to one of the college teams in illinois. The college teams in illinois is not one of the best teams so I think my best bet is to go out of state. I could go one but I am getting tired of typing so Ill cut it short.

Should I stay in the community college, get my associate's degree and go to any college in the country and play ball ? or should I transfer now to a not so good college team and Ill have more years to play and show my skills since ill be a year younger

If you want basketball to be your career, I think that you should drop out of school and move to Europe to play pro ball there. Europe is the place to be seen right now. American players are loved over there just as much as the soccer players.

Why are you asking an official's forum about this? If you're as good as you think you are, I would think you'd have schools looking at you now.

I do think that I am good but I cannot get any of the right people to see me play...Thats why I am thinking about going to a big time basketball college so can get some attention to my game.

Right. If you are in Illinois, you should enroll at Prairie State in Chicago Heights. You could even major in dental hygiene!

Is this a joke? If you are that good, give us your name and we will be looking for you. Many players, and officials, aren't really as good as they think they are. Is that true in your case?
