Why so many people yell stupid things...

As I watched a little bit of the NBA playoff game today, I heard this comment from a commentator:
"That should have been a no-call. You can see on the replay he got quite bit of ball on that one. It wasn't until after that that he grabbed his arm. That should usually be let go."

Am I wrong or is tha just...well, wrong?

Depends which team the individual is rooting for.

In order for it to be wrong, the NBA would have to have actual rules.
